Take a Bite Out of Stroke Risk

Just in time for the fall fruit season comes this remarkable news:

 

Eating apples and pears may help prevent stroke.

 

That’s the conclusion of a Dutch study which found that eating a lot of fruits and vegetables with white flesh may protect against stroke. The results were published in Stroke: Journal of the American Heart Association
